Monona Community Festival
Monona Community Festival is a local organization that hosts annual July 3rd and 4th celebrations in Monona, Wisconsin. I worked with the festival team as a graphic designer, supporting both the visual identity and on-the-ground event experience.
My role included creating sponsorship and parade banners, recoloring and adapting the festival logo, and designing clear, user-friendly maps for visitors and city use. In addition to design work, I volunteered during the event and participated in marketing videos, giving me firsthand insight into how the visuals functioned in real-time, public-facing environments.
This experience strengthened my ability to design for large-scale community events, balancing clarity, flexibility, and local spirit while collaborating closely with organizers and volunteers.
